All consults for new out-of-state patients will be performed virtually.
Dr. Michaels often treats patients that do not live in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area. For patients that that do not live close to his practice, Dr. Michaels offers the option of a virtual consultation. This will allow you the opportunity to meet Dr. Michaels, learn about his treatment philosophy, and to discuss the individualized treatment options available to you all from privacy of your own home.
What To Expect
The virtual consultation process is easy. You will be asked to submit information about the procedures you are interested in and to describe your goals from surgery. You will also have the opportunity to submit photographs, which is a critical and necessary component to help you with your decision. After Dr. Michaels reviews the information and photographs you have submitted, you will be contacted by his office.
Meeting The Doctor
If Dr. Michaels feels he can help you achieve your desired goals, a phone consultation or video consultation through Skype will be arranged to discuss his recommendations and answer any of your questions. Our virtual pre-consultation is not a replacement for an in-office consultation with Dr. Michaels. Prior to any surgical procedure, you will be required to be evaluated by Dr. Michaels in his office.
